The Weekends, Full of Foods

Friday, 21st July 2006

We are having such lavish Russian meals over a friend’s house for our dinner. All type of unique Russian cooking style were on the dining table, from chickens, lambs, beef, and salads. For just AUD$65.00 for the lots, it can feed up to 8 people in general. Not bad, hey!

We spent our early lunch at this Thai restaurant in Williamstown called Wild Rice. Not much of an original Thai food. It was a bit overpriced too for such a small and standard taste. Quite a disappointment we experienced.

The excitement came when we came down to this little French hut serving delicious crepes. Breizoz – French Creperies, the name, in Williamstown. Famous for its creperies, serving from traditional crepes to modern crepes. Nothing can beat the traditional and simple savoury creperies and the sweet creperies. Mouth watering delicacies, I must say. The flaming Orange Jaffa Les Crepe with Vanilla Ice Cream was just amazed me the most.

My recommendation:

  • Les Galletes – Cheese
  • Les Galletes – The Complete (Egg + Ham + Cheese)
  • Les Crepes – Jaffa (Orange) with Creme and Chocollate topping
  • Les Crepes – Jaffa Suprise (the flaming crepe), contains alcohol
  • Les Crepes – Beurre Sucre, just butter and sugar (simple but superb)

For dinner, we had a chinese-malaysian food in Clayton. I can’t recall the name of the restaurant, but the foods were not bad. To end our saturday night, Pink Panther the Movie was the best companion. What a quality time to have some good laughs.

Quite a relaxing rainy Sunday afternoon. Koko Black hot chollocate, a delicate drink to end our great weekends.
